WEEK 3. Magic fruits with gelatin.

I invite you to visit the website oh! fiestas.. They have great ideas for holiday recipes,crafts ... I picked up this colorful jelly recipe.

Gelatin is a very healthy food. It is a pure protein obtained from animal raw materials containing collagen. Another advantage of gelatin is its content of amino acids,especially glycine and proline, which improve the construction of the structures of ourbody, mostly bones, cartilage, tendons and ligaments. An insufficient supply of amino acids can manifest itself in joint pain, brittle nails and dry hair. Industrial Gels are not recommended for  babies because they have plenty of sugar and unwise coloring.

This week activity is to make these fruit gelatin with the kids.

Give a new way to gelatin flavors!
Cut limes, lemons and oranges in half, remove all the pulp and fill them with jelly following the preparation instructions. Let cool and cut into wedges.
If you want to do even more special, just when warm, put a few chocolate chips to simulate the seeds. Delicious!

We are little or nothing football fans, but if a Spanish team is in the champios league final, we will support them where necessary. So we've gone to the mountain and we have decorated  a tree with the colors of the champion to anticipate victory.

WEEK 17. Drawing with flashlights in the dark.

The activity I propose this week is to draw shapes, letters ... with a flashlight in the dark.

Materials:
- Camera.
- Flashlight.

Process:
- Put the camera in the "night" position.
- Turn off the light.

Invite your child to move the lantern drawing letters, shapes... Ask him not to movehis body too much.
- Take pictures and then watch them on your computer, comment letters, shapes...

This activity was not foreseen it was a pleasant "accident" after our home lab activity.

Table cloth shaped as a house for kids.

This is David´s gift to his babies class last term in the nursery for his birthday. It is a fabric (from Ikea) attached to the edge of the table with Velcro adhesive. It has a door bellcaller, key, mailbox basket to contain letters, window with hat, vertical flower vases holder, pockets for stuffed animals, ribbons to hang pictures and inside: a bed stitched to the fabric with own pillow and a fabric frame where you can change the images. Hope you like it.

Mom, I want a pet!

I knew that sooner or later it would arrive.

Dani: Mom, I want a pet!
Mom: And what pet do you want?
D: I want a horse.
M: Well, a horse ... if you want to, we could go to a riding club and you can horse ride from time to time.
D: No, I want a horse to bring him with me to the dining room...

Difficult questions when three years old were amazing, but acceptable. But, what about these impossible desires...?

In the end, I tried to explain Daniel, that animals feel better living on their own environment. Remember Tinker Bell when she was locked in a cage. 

I suggested buying a bird house and leave food for them to come at their will as Tinker Bell.

We did a lollipop of lettuce and another one with honey coated on seeds. Tonight we had a visit....
