HOLIDAY 1. We found amazing parks.

Sometimes when you're climbing a mountain you have to stop, stop to look fondly the trip made and to think about where you want to go. These stops do not they you farer from the goal, because you get more strength and ideas to continue to rise. This August I want to stop, to return in September with lots of energy. I appreciate all the support in recent months. I'm leaving but I'd leave you a last post about  the kids secret house and two proposals for holidays.

1 .- Save the list of "Things I have to do" for September and create a new: "things I want to do" for August.

2.-A few weeks ago I told you how important new experiences are. I propose that this month you take the kids to the park and that you try to discover new parks each time. Walk a few blocks to find an  apparently uninteresting tiny park . Make the effort to run away to a natural park. Stop calmly, observe people, other children, birds ... It will be a gift for children and for adults.

Traditional fun park.

Hills of grass parks to run, climb, roll ...

Magical parks to dream.

Athletes parks.

Rustic adventures parks.

Natural parks to discover.

Water parks to bear heat.

Never avoid going to the park. Not worth the excuses.

... and if you can share it with family it will be great.

WEEK 26. We are playing with bubbles.

We need:
- Distilled water. 2 cups.
- Soap dish. 1 cup.
- Glycerine. 1/2 cup.

Let the mixture stand 24 hours. It lasts about seven days.

Supplies: Wire hangers wrapped in a circle.

Have fun.

These bubbles come out just when moving the little racket.

Seed toy bags.

With a little skill you can make these bags full of beans, salt ... They are interesting for playing games in kitchenettes, shops and as simple sensory elements for children. You can also use them with blind eyes to guess its contents.

Trip from Figueras to Olot, Spain.

I propose a magical tour through the north of Girona.

We have done it without the kids but I think it could be adapted for children from 3 years.

If you get to get to Figueres, Dalí's home town, around noon you can eat the fantasticmenu    "L´ou d´or" (around 12 euros).

In the afternoon visit indispensable Dali museum theater. Try to entry with guided groups.

After the museum you drive to Cadaqués and have dinner in "The balconet." Sleep somewhere economic Figueras. In the morning I recommend you visit the Spa "Qualia" in a circle of Figueras. For only 60 euros you get a massage of 1.30 min + 30 min in the small but interesting Spa.

Visit the beautiful medieval town of Besalú and eat there.

From 3 pm go to one of the pavellons de Les cols en Olot and spend the afternoon experiencing new sensations of peace and contemplation. For dinner go to "La Deu" and try its menu frome 11 euros with their tradicional la Deu potatoes than you even can take away.

The next morning enjoy the incredible breakfast in your glass refuge "Les cols pavellons" and begin the trip to the volcano of Montsacopa  with stunning views of the city.

You will find Sant Francesc hermitage.

You can climb the towers.

Beside enjoy nature in a place carpented with volcanic rocks.

Then go to Fageda d´en Jordá.

You can make a tour by carriage through the beech.

Find magic things while walking...

There are great areas for picnic.

Surprise yourself with the incredible bag for the way  provided in "Les cols". It will make you change your mind about picnics.

In the afternoon visit the Croscat volcano with its attractive section that lets you see the inner layers. If you come to Barcelona do not forget to drive the new road towards Vic

It was an unforgettable getaway.
